Packing list builder
Turn your cargo details into a packing list you can review and export.
Formula & guide ↓UNDERSTAND THE NUMBER
Clear inputs.
Explainable results.
A packing list describes what is in each package and how it is packed. Use package marks, a specific goods description, quantities, dimensions, and net and gross weights that match the physical shipment and supporting documents.
How to use this tool
- Add shipment references and the parties that need to identify the cargo.
- Use one row for packages with identical contents, size and weights. Give each group clear package marks.
- Check the preview against the goods and invoice, then export or print. Confirm any destination-specific document requirements.
A WORKED EXAMPLE
For five identical chair crates, a row can use marks CH-01–CH-05, description “dining chairs, two per crate”, five packages, 40 kg net and 45 kg gross per package. The row totals are 200 kg net and 225 kg gross.
What the estimate covers
This is a draft worksheet, not a commercial invoice or certification. It does not validate HS codes, origin, regulated goods or destination requirements. Inputs are processed in your browser; this tool does not submit the form to Allwayforward.
Is a packing list the same as a commercial invoice?
No. A packing list describes package contents and physical details. A commercial invoice records the sale and values; the information should be consistent.
Can I combine different suppliers?
Yes. Use the package marks or description to identify each supplier’s goods and keep references traceable. Do not combine non-identical packages into one row.
What is included in the export?
CSV includes shipment reference fields, package marks, descriptions, counts, dimensions and calculated totals. Print produces a draft document that you can save as PDF using your browser.
